Julie and Loren visit Samaritan's Purse in San Pedro Sula

Loren and Julie witnesses the HIV education program in action at the Samaritans Purse testing and Counseling center, also with the Honduran Navy in Porta Cortez were many sailors took advantage of the 15 minute free HIV test, which Casa Hogar Vida hopes to be licensed for in the near future




Dra Lul and the team along side Julie and Loren had to turn back and land on the beach after trying to visit a remote Garafuna Community, not accessible by car. The team then had to walk 45 minutes to safety as the sea was too rough to continue on the shallow launch.

Over all the trip was very rewarding and interesting, the Casa Hogar team look forward to working with Samaritans Purse in the near future, united in helping those suffering from the results of HIV/AIDS here in Choluteca. We thank Samaritans Purse for the hospitality.
