This morning thousands of contestants awoke early to run 26.2 miles in the Detroit Marathon. By the grace of God, Casa Hogar Vida was one of the three organizations contestants chose between supporting with their race money.
The dream to run for Casa Hogar Vida began with one man from Cedar Creek Church in Toleto, Ohio. Here is the video the church put together to tell more about the dream and why one man wanted to run for this cause.

Hi, I will be leading a team from Heritage Christian Church to Chulateca. Our plan is to work at Casa Hogar for most of the week we are there. I am a runner and am curious if there is a marathn planned for this fall?
