Educational Meeting with a local church

The Education Team

On Sunday October 5th, the Casa Hogar Educational Team gave a presentation to a local church in Choluteca. Many people in Choluteca know very little about HIV/AIDS. Therefore, one of Casa Hogar's roles against HIV/AIDS is the elimination of discrimination of those suffering from the virus and to stop the spread of the HIV virus. The education team is dedicated to visit local communities, workplaces, colleges and schools giving advice about HIV/AIDS.

The pastor and his wife

Ian and Loren shared the dream of Casa Hogar Vida, what the orphanage will look like, where it is located, and why there is a need for CHV in Choluteca, Honduras.

Ian and Loren sharing about the vision for CHV

After Ian and Loren shared the vision of CHV, Elly Sanchez gave an informational presentation about HIV/AIDS. He shared about the virus itself: what a virus is, the origins of HIV, the stages of development of HIV, and treatment of HIV. He also talked about stigma and discrimination, how the virus can be caught, and how the virus cannot be caught. Lastly, that abstinence is the best option to not catch HIV.

He finished the night with opening the floor to questions and answers. Many people asked questions about the basics of HIV/AIDS. It was a really beneficial time to share the reality of HIV/AIDS with many people of all different ages.

They give 1500 MB of disk space and 100 GB data transfer. I am now using them for about 3 months and never seen any downtime of server problems. There is no any kind of advertising on my pages too, so I think its worth to signup.
